Tannie Turns 2
I know I have been the biggest blog slacker so I will try and do a quick catch up.
This was the invite that was sent out. Much thanks to my good friend Emily...
Yes my son turned 2...way back on June 11.Jared and I were actually out of town on his actual birthday (sushhhh don't tell anyone, he didn't notice) so we celebrated it the following Monday. We had a little party at our house with some family and friends. I still can not believe that my little guys is already two. Wow time does fly by. It makes me want to really take each day as a blessing because before you know it...it's gone. What can I say about my little guy?? Actually its more like where do I begin. I never thought that raising a boy and a girl would be much different and well Tanner has proven me wrong. He has the most tender heart and gentle nature. He loves to sit and cuddle with me in which I absolutely can not get enough of. He is full of personality, Jared and I are constantly asking our selves where did he come from. He find our selves laughing at him daily.
I had the wonderful opportunity to head up to our family cabin in Montana for a week. I would have to say that going up there is just the best. I was up there for the first few days with my dad and the kids. We had a blast, fishing, boating, and driving into Yellowstone National Park. It is so fun to watch my kids experience the same things that I go to while going up. I just hope to create some of the same memories. On Wednesday night some of our friends came up for the weekend. We always have a blast when we get together. The kids ran wild and loved every minute. After coming home and looking at the pictures from the trip I realized that I didn't take any pictures of any ones else besides my kids. So sorry.

Wow I have a four year old. I just can't believe it. I guess that really makes me feel old. Anyway we had a little tea party/cupcake decorating party for grace and some of her little friends on her birthday. She has been talking about her birthday for about six months so its nice to have it finally come. Although she is already talking about her next birthday party. The best part of the party was my mom and I made all the girls little aprons with there name printed on them, Thanks mom a ton for all your hard work. The girls were so excited to put them and start decorating. They were all in heaven being able to put all there toppings on there cupcakes. It was fun to watch them get so into it. We then had a little party with family the next night, where papa mike gave Grace her new PINK bike with out training wheels. I told Grace that if she learn to ride her green bike with out the training wheels then we would get her a new pink bike. Well much to Jared and my surprise it only took her two times trying to ride without them to have it down. The things she is able to do just amazes me. I am so glad to have little grace in my life. She is constently teaching me how to be a better mom. She is full of energy and spirit and I love her with all my heart.

I did IT!!!
Holy Crap is about all I can say for this experience. RUN, EAT, SLEEP, REPEAT. 180 Miles 12 runners, two vans, and 32 hours all on 4 hours of sleep on a high school gym floor. Who wouldn't want to do that??? I was so nervous and skeptical about this whole thing that I think I made my self more crazy. After it was all said and done I absolutely loved, loved every minute. Well not every minute but almost. I would have to say for someone that does not like running I feel pretty proud of my self. I might not ever run again but hey I ran my legs off and that is good enough for me. I got to know some pretty amazing ladies that will have a little place in my heart for a long time. So thank you to: VAN 1: AMY, ANGIE, MEGAN P., PATRICE, KELLY Van 2: WHITNEY, KARI, MEGAN M., AUGUSTA, TENILLE, HEIDI you all ROCK! ANYONE READY FOR ANOTHER RELAY?

What have we been up to Lately...
Enjoying our backyard and some really wonderful weather...
And of course that come with Ice Cream Sandwiches...
Grace had her end of the year school spring sing... She did such a great job.. I am so proud of her. I have loved waiting for her to come home from school and tell me about all the fun things she made for me. She is my little friend and I love every minute we have together. Even when those moments are filled with anger because I know her little smile will erase any anger I have.
Oh yeah Boating season has begun.. Hopefully we will go more then last year.. But I guess that can't be to hard considering we when twice.

A Week of Easter!

We had not only one Easter Egg hunt this year but THREE. Yep you read that right three. We celebrated Easter a week early at Grandma Peggy's house because my niece Elle was going in for surgery that following Friday and would still be in the hospital for Easter. So Peggy had her own little Hunt in her back yard.
Number TWO was a neighborhood hunt in our Bishops back yard. All the kids from the neighborhood split up into age groups and had a huge egg hunt. It was cute to see all the little kids running around looking for the Golden Egg because that one had a special surprise in it. Although my kids were not to interested in the golden egg they just wanted the CANDY.
The last hunt was at home on Sunday morning. Once again the CANDY was what interested them. Jared and I both had to keep telling them to keep looking and not to eat the candy right away. I am sure we will be having a wonderful trip to the dentist.

Rub A Dub Dub

Oh Man do my kids love to take a bath. They could play and play and play for hours if I would let them. I think my favorite part of the bath is when Tanner gets out all warm and wet and wraps his little arms around me for a great big snuggle. If I fail to pick him up and snuggle him he throws a full on tantrum. So I try hard not to miss that opportunity.

Grampy

My beloved grampy passed away this past Easter Sunday. He was a wonderful grandpa who had a zest for live and how to live it. I could not have asked for a more fun, loving and outgoing grandpa ever. He lived live to the very fullest. He taught me how to drive, waterski, camp, and love the outdoors. I loved him with all my heart and I always knew that he loved me too. I will miss him greatly.
